Summer 2020 Information.

The Cache Lake Pre-Camp Meeting has been cancled.  As an replacement for the meeting your weeks Ranger will be giving the Unit Contact a call to go over Cache Lake Information with each unit.  If you have any questions please reach out to either Austin St. George austin.st.george@scouting.org or reach out to your weeks Ranger.

The Cache Lake Committee is working to make the Cache Lake Experince happen as planned while following the recommedations of the Canadian and US boarders and health departments, but this is a fluid situation we are monitoring.  We are planning on sending an update to all the unit contacts on May 1st, if there are any major changes between now and then an email will be sent out to all the unit contacts for the 2020 summer season.

There has been changes for until and individual eligibility for the 2020 Cache Lake Camping Season.

There could be 2 drawings at the 2020 Cache Lake Drawing, the first drawing is open to all the Troops and Crews in the W. D. Boyce Council who were not drawn for a Cache Lake spot in 2019.  After the first drawing if there are any remaining available spots for a week or on the alternate list then a second drawing will happen which is open to all the units that were drawn for a 2019 spot.  If there are still any spots open after the second drawing they remaining spots will be offered to Out of Council units that have attended Ingersoll Scout Reservation's Scouts BSA Summer Camp.

Once your unit has a spot, all youth attending must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be 13 years old or older. Scouts may attend as a 12 year old, but must be accompanied by a parent on the trip.
  • Must be First Class Rank.
  • Must have attended a week-long Boy Scout of America program at any BSA Resident Camp.
